1. The influence of pressure overload on the four-column hydraulic press

Usually, the normal pressure of a four-column hydraulic press is 25MPa. In the normal production process, the pressure of the hydraulic press shall not exceed 25MPa. The working temperature of the four-column hydraulic press is usually 30-80 °C, and the oil temperature in the hydraulic system of the four-column hydraulic press must be controlled at 30-60 °C. If the oil temperature exceeds this range, it will have many adverse effects on the hydraulic system.

2. The solution to the pressure overload of the four-column hydraulic press

Many large manufacturers will consider the corresponding problems at the beginning of the design and install the corresponding unloading valve. When the pressure suddenly rises, the high pressure hydraulic oil returns to the oil tank through the unloading valve or the shutdown protection device.


Therefore, when purchasing a four-column hydraulic press, not only depends on the price of the equipment, but also on the technical strength of the manufacturer. Especially the four-column hydraulic press purchased by a small company cannot guarantee not only the quality, but also the hydraulic system, not to mention the influence of pressure overload.


3. Precautions for the pressure test of the four-column hydraulic press

(1) First of all, we must understand the principle and corresponding structural performance of the four-column hydraulic press machine, and carry out the pressure test according to the instructions for use.


(2) During the pressure test, the system valve should be adjusted to the selected pressure test value.


(3) After turning on the power, start the motor and observe whether the rotation direction is correct.


(4) During the debugging process, special attention should be paid to the temperature change of the hydraulic oil. The suitable temperature of general hydraulic system is 40-50℃. When working at this temperature, the efficiency of the hydraulic components is high, and the oxidation resistance of the oil is in a state. When the working temperature exceeds 80 °C, the oil will deteriorate early (for every 10 °C increase, the oil deterioration rate will increase by 2 times), and it will also cause the viscosity to decrease, the lubrication performance to deteriorate, the oil film to be easily broken, and the hydraulic parts to burn easily. Therefore, the working temperature of hydraulic oil should not exceed 70 ~ 80 ℃, when it exceeds this temperature, it should be stopped for cooling or forced cooling measures should be taken.
